My goodness, I am the worst. Ok, here is a rundown of the last three months in one post:
Christmas was amazing. David was such fun, and SO excited about Santa. He got pretty much every Lighting McQueen toy known to man, which he loved. Connor wasn’t as into it, obviously, but he had fun too. The hit for him was his Playskool Ball Popper. Here are a bunch of pictures.
Over Thanksgiving break, Dave took David to see Madagascar 2, which was his very first movie in the theater. He did a great job, so I took him to see Bolt over Christmas break. He was so proud of himself for being brave during the scary parts, he kept talking about what a big boy he is.
School has been a lot of fun for David. He’s gotten to go on a bunch of different field trips, including ones to Chocolate Madness, a candy store downtown, and one to the police station. That one was an especially big hit, considering that he got to not only sit in a police car, but also turn on the lights.
Connor is getting funnier every day. He’s still not talking very much, which is funny when you consider that David was saying over 100 words at this point. But he still manages to get his point across quite clearly when he wants something or is unhappy (read: he has a horrible temper). My favorite thing is when he dances. I’m going to have to get a video of that up here, because it’s too hilarious for words.
Can’t really think of much else that’s been going on (see, you didn’t miss much!).
Holy Moly! There’s life at the Young family blog! So happy to hear from you all!
